What’s The Story Behind Patagonia?

Patagonia's story began in 1957 when Yvon Chouinard, a young climber, started making climbing gear in his parents' backyard. He soon realized that he could produce better equipment than what was available on the market. In 1973, he founded Patagonia with the goal of creating the best outdoor products while minimizing the brand's impact on the environment.

Since then, Patagonia has continued to expand and innovate, while staying true to its core values of quality, sustainability, and social responsibility.
